Right to Read ND: Statement Opposing Measure 4

The Right to Read ND campaign stands in strong opposition to Measure 4, a ballot initiative that would eliminate property taxes based on assessed value. This dangerous measure, set to appear on the November 5, 2024, ballot, threatens the future of libraries across North Dakota by cutting off essential funding that local governments depend on to support public services, including our schools and libraries.
